Recital 144
Artificial Intelligence Act · UE 2024/1689
| (144) | In order to promote and protect innovation, the AI-on-demand platform, all relevant Union funding programmes and projects, such as Digital Europe Programme, Horizon Europe, implemented by the Commission and the Member States at Union or national level should, as appropriate, contribute to the achievement of the objectives of this Regulation. |
In Luxembourg, EU programmes are relayed nationally through Luxinnovation, the Luxembourg EDIH (L-DIH) and the Meluxina AI Factory hosted by LuxProvide. Any AI project funded through these channels must anticipate the future Luxembourgish AI market surveillance authority (not yet formally designated) and coordinate with the CNPD on the personal data dimension.
Luxgap practice: we systematically embed the AI Act compliance matrix into your Luxinnovation files and Meluxina access requests, so that the funding awarded also serves as accountability evidence during a later inspection.
